What changed this year
Caterpillar C-12 at 505 horsepower and 1,550 pound-feet; GVWR raised to 47,500 pounds; 18-inch Smart Wheel steering wheel; Onan low-voltage generator start. Running changes: daytime running lights from unit 6076, European cabinet hinges from unit 6098, reprogrammed engine brake from unit 6117 and 15,000-BTU roof air conditioners from unit 6124. Custom paint became a $16,675 option.
Notes
Propane 19.5 gallons. The specification lines give GVWR 46,500 and GCWR 53,500 pounds for tag-axle models, and the change list says GVWR rose to 47,500. The black tank is listed as 45 gallons here but 49 gallons in the 2001 and 2003 lists. Transmission and chassis come from National RV's annual report filed April 1, 2002.
