The short version

We collect only what the site needs to work. We do not sell personal information, we show no advertising, and we use no tracking or analytics tools.

What we collect

• Visits. Our hosting company, DreamHost, keeps ordinary server logs (your internet address, the page, the time and your browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookies. One cookie, set only when you sign in, to keep you signed in for up to seven days. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Accounts. Your name and email address. Your password is stored only as a one-way scrambled code, so nobody at Motorcoach.direct can read it.
• Listings. The details and photo links a seller submits. Nothing is public until we have reviewed it, and a seller's contact details are never shown on a listing page.
• Inquiries. The name, email address and message a buyer sends about a coach. They are stored and shown only to the seller of that coach and to our administrators.

How we use it

To run the site, review listings, pass inquiries to sellers, keep the site secure, and answer your messages. We do not use it for anything else.

Who else sees it

• Our hosting company, which stores the site and its logs.
• An email delivery service, once we switch on account emails (sign-up confirmation and password reset). We will name it here when we do.
• Anyone the law requires us to give it to.

How long we keep it

Account details stay while your account is open. Listings and the inquiries about them stay until they are removed. Server logs are kept by the hosting company for a short time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, close your account, or have a listing removed. Email concierge@motorcoach.direct.

Photographs and sources

The Coach Encyclopedia credits where each photograph and fact comes from. If you own a photograph and want it removed or replaced, email the same address.

Children

The site is for adults buying and selling coaches. It is not meant for children.
