Beaver Patriot Thunder
Thunder began as an upgrade option on the Patriot. SMC's annual reports for 1997 through 2000 describe it as a 425-horsepower engine paired with a heavy-duty transmission. In the Monaco years the Patriot Thunder had its own owner's manuals and brochures, which the Beaver Ambassador Club lists for 2004 through 2008. A 2006 coach offered at auction in 2011, which did not sell, was described with a Caterpillar C13 engine listed as a 525 and four slide-outs.

The story of the model
Patriot Thunder history
SMC's annual reports for 1997 through 2000 describe Thunder as an upgrade option on the Patriot: a 425-horsepower engine and a heavy-duty transmission. The club's library lists one brochure and one owner's manual that cover both the 2000 Patriot and the 2000 Patriot Thunder.
In the Monaco years the name stands on its own in the club's library, with Patriot Thunder owner's manuals for 2004, 2006 and 2007 and brochures for 2007 and 2008. A service bulletin for the 2005 Marquis and Patriot Thunder deals with access to a C13 engine. Monaco's annual reports list only one Patriot line, so its published price ranges cannot be split between the Patriot and the Patriot Thunder.
