Beaver Santiam

The Santiam was a lower-priced diesel Beaver of the early Monaco years. Monaco listed it at $155,000 to $180,000 in its annual reports filed in 2002 and 2003, rising to $185,000 to $215,000 in the report filed in 2005, so it sits at the edge of this encyclopedia's price range. A long-time club member says 2002 was its first year and that price guides list none after 2005.

Santiam history

Monaco's annual reports list the Santiam at $155,000 to $180,000 (filed 2002 and 2003), $175,000 to $220,000 (2004) and $185,000 to $215,000 (2005). On the club forum, one long-time member says 2002 was the first year of production and that price guides list no Santiam after 2005. Another member says the Santiam was built at Monaco's Holiday Rambler plant in Indiana instead of in Oregon. Neither claim was checked against a factory document.
