1997 Beaver Monterey
Steve Rankin's Beaver brochure archive holds a 1997 Beaver owner's manual that it lists as covering the 1997 Monterey. The manual was not read for this record, so no specifications are given beyond the chassis maker.

About the price: No model-year price list was found, so no base price is recorded. SMC's annual report for fiscal 1996 (filed March 31, 1997) gave a retail price range of $135,000 to $160,000 for the Monterey without naming a model year (https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000932129/000089387797000192/0000893877-97-000192.txt).
These values describe this model year and configuration. An individual coach can differ, so check it against the coach’s own records. “Not documented” means the encyclopedia does not have that fact yet.

Notes
The chassis maker comes from Steve Rankin's Beaver site (http://www.serenitysys.com/beaver/), which describes 1996 to 1999 Montereys as built on a Magnum chassis. The owner's manual link in the archive (http://www.serenitysys.com/beaver/archives/1997_Beaver_Owners_Manual.pdf) was not opened. Scans of Beaver's 1997 brochures are linked by year from the public Beaver Motorhome History brochure index (https://sites.google.com/site/beavermotorhomehistory/home/smc/brochures-smc); those photo albums cannot be read as text and were not used for this record.
