2004 Blue Bird Wanderlodge M450 LXi · 2004 brochure (no model year printed)
Filed under 2004 because that is the date of the factory brochure, which prints no model year. The brochure presents the all-new Wanderlodge 450 LXi with a 525-horsepower Caterpillar C13, an Allison six-speed, a stainless steel body built as one unit with the chassis, and two floor plans, A and B.

What changed this year
The brochure calls the coach all-new and points to the independent front suspension, the integrated stainless steel body and chassis, the linear-bearing slide-outs and a new 5-year/3-year warranty.
Notes
The year 2004 is the brochure date, not a stated model year: it is the brochure’s copyright year (form codes RV-LXi-0704 and RV450LXi 0704); the brochure prints no model year. The Vintage Birds model list says no model other than the M380 was built for the 2004 model year, so this coach may have been sold as a 2005 model. The brochure text does not print an overall length or a fuel capacity; Wikipedia describes the coach as 45 feet long. It mentions slide-outs and an optional bedroom slide-out without giving a count, and names no generator brand. It describes the chassis as built by Wanderlodge with the body, from the frame rails up, so Blue Bird is entered as chassis maker with no separate chassis model. Also listed: 30-gallon LP tank; axle ratings of 16,000 lb front, 23,000 lb rear (with an 18,500 lb tow hitch) and 13,000 lb tag; combined gross vehicle weight 70,500 lb; 315/80R-22.5 tires; dual 24-volt 140-amp alternators. No price is printed. The builder is named as Blue Bird Corporation, Coachworks Division, One Wanderlodge Way, Fort Valley, Georgia.
