American Coach American Dream
The American Dream is the second current American Coach family, priced below the American Eagle. The name first appears in the Fleetwood annual report for fiscal 1995 and in brochures through 2003, then returns with the 2016 model year. The American Coach website lists the 2027 American Dream at an MSRP of $821,622, with 42Q, 45P and 45A floorplans.

The story of the model
American Dream history
The American Dream was the second American Coach model. It is missing from the Fleetwood annual report for the fiscal year that ended in April 1994 and present in the next report, and a dealer history gives 1994 as its first year. A brochure archive holds American Dream brochures for 1999 through 2003. The Fleetwood report for fiscal 2003 still lists the Dream, but the fiscal 2004 report does not.
The name came back for the 2016 model year. RVGuide lists 2016 and 2017 American Dream floorplans coded 42G, 42M, 45A and 45T, the same codes it shows for the 2015 and 2016 American Tradition. For 2018 it also lists a lower-priced American Dream SE line.
RVGuide lists the 42Q floorplan with an 8.9-liter, 450-horsepower Cummins engine and the 45-foot 45P with a 15-liter, 605-horsepower Cummins. A shorter 39RK floorplan is listed for 2022 and 2023 only. The American Coach website shows an MSRP of $787,546 for 2025 and $821,622 for 2026 and 2027.
