The story of the model

American Heritage history

A 1999 American Heritage brochure is the earliest one in the brochure archive, and a dealer history gives 1999 as the first year of the model. The Fleetwood annual report for the fiscal year that ended in April 2000 lists the Heritage with the Tradition, Dream and Eagle. MotorHome magazine called it the flagship of the 2007 American Coach line.

RVGuide lists 2014 and 2015 Heritage floorplans with a 15-liter, 600-horsepower Cummins engine at prices near $860,000. It lists no American Heritage after 2015. The brochure archive also holds a 2017 American Eagle Heritage Edition brochure and a 2019 Eagle Heritage brochure.
