Dynamax DynaQuest XL
The DynaQuest XL is the second-highest Dynamax line. The 2027 model is built on the Freightliner M2 112 Plus chassis with a 450-horsepower Cummins L9 engine and comes in five floorplans from 34 feet 4 inches to 41 feet 3 inches. Base prices run from $450,584 to $520,737. The earliest DynaQuest XL brochure found is for 2007.

The story of the model
DynaQuest XL history
The DynaQuest name appears on a 2006 brochure titled DynaQuest Touring Cruiser, and the DynaQuest XL name on a 2007 brochure. A 2012 brochure covers a companion model called the DynaQuest ST. An undated early DynaQuest XL brochure describes a 330-horsepower Cummins engine with 1,000 lb-ft of torque on a Freightliner chassis.
By the 2019 model year the DynaQuest XL was built on the Freightliner M2 112 chassis with a 450-horsepower Cummins 8.9-liter ISL engine and an Allison 3200 TRV transmission. In March 2018 RV PRO called it the top of the Dynamax line, with prices starting at $361,000. The 2027 model keeps a 450-horsepower Cummins engine, now named the L9, on the M2 112 Plus chassis. It now sits one step below the Grand Sport.
