The story of the model
Grand Sport history
Dynamax has used the Grand Sport name for many years. A third-party brochure library holds a Grand Sport brochure for 2002, a Grand Sport M2 Touring Coach brochure for 2006, Grand Sport Ultra brochures for 2007, 2008, 2012, 2013 and 2014, and a Grand Sport GT brochure for 2013. Those brochures are scans that could not be read as text, so the chassis, engines and prices of the earlier coaches are not recorded here.
No Grand Sport brochure was found for 2015 through 2025. The builder's site shows the current Grand Sport for the 2026 and 2027 model years. The 2027 coach is a single 45CB floorplan on a Freightliner Cascadia 126 tandem-axle chassis with a 600-horsepower Detroit DD16 engine, a 12-speed DT-12 transmission and four slide-outs. Dynamax describes it as the top of its Super C lineup.
