Prevost XLII

The XLII, also written Le Mirage XLII or XL-II, followed the XL, and Wikipedia calls it the second generation of the XL line. Prevost says production started in January 2000 and that the XLII models got a facelift in 2004. Used-coach listings on the independent site Prevost-Stuff show XLII motorhomes from converters such as Marathon and Royale, sold as non-slide or double-slide coaches.

The story of the model

XLII history

Prevost's motorhome history page says production of the Le Mirage XLII started in January 2000 and that the XLII models were given a facelift in 2004. Wikipedia says the XLII came in 40-foot and 45-foot versions, dropped the fluted stainless-steel lower body cladding of the earlier XL and used flush-mounted side windows.

The X3-45 followed. Prevost dates the X3-45 launch to 2006, and Wikipedia describes it as a revision of the XLII with a longer wheelbase. No source opened for this profile names the first or last model year of an XLII conversion shell.
