Renegade RV Explorer
The Explorer is a single-rear-axle Super C about 38.5 to 41 feet long, built on a Freightliner Cascadia 116 with a 525-horsepower Detroit DD13. It first appears in Renegade's brochure archive for model year 2022. It carries 150 gallons of fresh water and Aqua-Hot heat and is rated to tow 20,000 pounds. A Peterbilt 567 chassis became an option for 2026, and the 2027 page lists it with a 500-horsepower Cummins X15.

The story of the model
Explorer history
The Explorer first appears in Renegade's brochure archive, and in RVGuide's lists, for model year 2022, with two floorplans: the 38EMB and the 40ERB. RVGuide gives 2023 suggested prices of $559,741 and $565,271.
For 2026 Renegade added a third floorplan, the 40EBH, along with a Peterbilt 567 chassis option, standard lithium batteries and standard Starlink. For 2027 it added a longer tandem-axle model, listed separately as the Explorer TS.
