Notes
The Vintage Birds model list names a Ford industrial gasoline engine as the standard engine for 1964 through 1976 but gives no model or output. The Autopian, describing the factory’s 1964 brochure, reports a coach 31 feet long and 8 feet wide weighing 17,520 pounds, with a choice of a 5.4-liter Ford V8 (205 hp), a 6.6-liter GMC V6 (210 hp) or a 5.7-liter Chevrolet V8 (220 hp). Because more than one engine was offered, the engine fields are left empty. Wikipedia says five to ten prototypes were built in 1964 and 1965. brochureUrl links a 14-page factory document titled 1964 Transit Home Questions and Answers; only its title and page count could be read in this session. Lengths are the nominal model lengths used by Vintage Birds, not measured figures.
